Cool Grey Smokey Eyes | Lorac Pro Palette 2
I am so ready for fall if you couldn't already tell... I decided to whip out my Lorac Pro Palette 2 and give this palette a go again. Recently I have been reaching for my Lorac Pro OG Palette because its a bit more on the neutral side- I feel very safe wearing all colors, and most importantly in my comfort-case the colors are majorly warm. The 2nd palette is bit more colorful and cool toned.
If you haven't already checked these palettes out you absolutely must! They are incredibly beautiful, highly pigmented and can pretty much give you any look you might want between the two. They go for about $42 a palette and inside is a huge mirror, 16 shades including 8 matte and 8 shimmer, swoon. Such a steal and worth every penny. However, the only downside to these shadows is there can be a rather large amount of fallout, so if you're not as advanced I'd suggest applying your eye makeup prior to your foundation. Also, if you're debating on over the other, I'd say go with the first one. ;)
But today's look is all about the cool tones, which the 2nd palette does not fall short of. I was looking at this palette like "What should I do today? Gosh, there is an awful lot of grey tones..." and lightbulb. Grey smokey eye, which is fitting... Considering the name :) I managed to use every grey shade in the palette as well and was extremely please with the result!
Let's not forget about the lips as well! I used one of my favorite products by Make Up For Ever which are their Aqua Lip Pencils in 14C which is a beautiful mauve-pink, dead. These pencils are long wearing, water proof and are gorgeous on their own. Paired with the gorgeous and ever so genius Gerard Cosmetics Lipgloss in Nude. Such a sickening combo- I think this will be my go to lip for the rest of the summer!!
